Effective June 1, 2023

This Privacy Policy applies to revyse.com (the “Site”), and governs data collection and usage. The Site is owned and operated by Revyse Inc, a technology company who operates this software vendor discovery platform and user review site. By using the Site, you consent to the data practices described in this statement. If you don’t agree with this Privacy Policy, please don’t use our Site or submit any information to us.

Information Collection Practices

We collect data from our users and vendors as follows:

Information You Submit

We collect information submitted by users and visitors of the Site, as well as from the vendors whose products and services are featured on the Site.

When you sign-up to use the Site and create an account, we collect information you submit, which may include your name, contact information, email address, phone number, employer, job title, and Site username and password.

We also collect information when you complete a contact form in connection with your interest in a vendor’s products or services, which again may include your name, email address, employer and job title, plus any freeform content that you include with your submission.

We collect information when you submit reviews, submissions, contributions or posts on the Site. We collect the content you submit or post (which may include personal information that you insert in your submission) as well as information linking you to the review.

We collect information that you send to us regarding the Site, including, but not limited to, complaints, questions, concerns, comments or recommendations.

Information We Collect From Your Use of the Site

We collect information about your computer hardware and software when you use the Site. This information can include your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring website addresses. We may also track the websites and pages you visit on the Site.

One of the tools that we use to track how users engage with our website is Google Analytics. To learn more about how Google uses data collected through these tools, visit https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

In the event we send you an email message, we may receive a notification when you open an email from Revyse or click on a link, including information about which link(s) you clicked.

Information Collected from Cookies

We may use cookies to help you personalize your online experience and deliver you targeted advertisements. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.

One of the primary purposes of cookies is to provide a convenience feature to save you time. The purpose of a cookie is to tell the web server that you have returned to a specific page. For example, if you personalize pages on the Site, or register with the Site, a cookie helps the Site to recall your specific information on subsequent visits. This simplifies the process of recording your personal information. When you return to the same page(s) on the Site, the information you previously provided can be retrieved, so you can easily use the features that you customized.

You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to fully experience the interactive features of the Site.

When you visit or log in to our website, cookies and similar technologies may be used by our online data partners or vendors to associate these activities with other personal information they or others have about you, including by association with your email or home address. We (or service providers on our behalf) may then send communications and marketing to these email or home addresses. You may opt out of receiving this advertising by visiting https://app.retention.com/optout .

Advertising Tools

From time to time, we may use third party advertising tools that could place tracking pixels or cookies on your computer or mobile device to deliver targeted ads to you. These may include retargeting ads on Google Search, or the Facebook pixel may be used to provide advertisements on other websites.

Advertising networks also offer you a way to opt out of cookies or targeted advertising.  To find out more, visit:

How We Use Information We Collect

Revyse collects and uses your personal information to operate and deliver the services you have requested. Revyse may also use your personally identifiable information to inform you of other products or services available from Revyse and its affiliates.

Revyse uses the information you provide to us through the Site, or that we collect from your use of the Site (including from cookies, advertising tools or engaging with emails we send), to create your user account, to operate, manage and improve the Site, and to track user engagement with the Site or our marketing materials. We may also share aggregate and/or anonymized information about user engagement and use of the Site with our vendors to better help them use the Site to market their products and services on the Site.

Revyse uses information you provide to us to send you email, text/SMS or phone communications with updates about the Site or its terms, or marketing materials (e.g. newsletters) featuring the products or services available from Revyse, its vendors or its other business partners and affiliates. We may contact you via email for the purpose of providing announcements, promotional offers, alerts, confirmations, surveys, and/or other general communication.

If you complete a form on the Site expressing interest in a vendor’s products or services, we pass that information along to the vendor, along with information you provided at sign-up (e.g. name, contact information and email address), so that the vendor may reach out to you about your inquiry or interest. Revyse keeps a record of all information relayed to vendors for its own tracking and record-keeping purposes, and to improve the performance of the Site for both users and vendors.

We may use information you submit in reviews, submissions, contributions or other content you submit to us in connection with your use of the Site. This information is used on the Site as a means of improving the quality of reviews and Site function. We may also use aggregate and/or anonymized compilations of the reviews, submissions, contributions or other content to inform third parties (including vendors) to help them better use the Site, and to improve the services we offer on the Site.

Revyse may share personally identifiable information obtained from cookies for the purpose of aggregate web site statistical and trend analysis.

Revyse may use information you submit to us to investigate any breach of the Site’s Terms of Use or Vendor Terms, or to help improve the Site.

Sharing Information with Third Parties

As noted above, when you request to be connected to a third party vendor on our Site, such as signing up for a sales demo or requesting more information about a vendor’s product or service, we’ll share the contact info that you’ve given us with that vendor. What the vendor does with the information is outside of the control of Revyse and is not governed by this Privacy Policy.

Revyse may, from time to time, contact you on behalf of external business partners about a particular offering that may be of interest to you. Revyse may share data with trusted partners to help perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, provide customer support, or arrange for sales demos. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to Revyse, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.

Revyse may disclose your personal information, without notice, if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on Revyse or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of Revyse; and/or (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of Revyse, or the public.

Do Not Track Requests

Revyse does not honor Web browser “do not track” signals or other mechanisms that provide consumers the ability to exercise choice regarding the collection of personally identifiable information about an individual consumer’s online activities over time and across third-party Web sites or online services.
