At Cushman & Wakefield, we’ve had a strong and collaborative partnership with Apartments.com across our nationwide multifamily portfolio. With hundreds of communities represented, we greatly appreciate the platform’s responsiveness, customer care, and ongoing support. Apartments.com consistently delivers—providing us with thousands of qualified leads annually. Their reach and exposure across a wide range of advertising channels make them the most recognizable ILS in the industry, and a key player in our digital marketing strategy. We value the partnership, the performance, and the people behind the platform.

What could Apartments.com do better?

My only wish is developing a longer-term strategy, allowing for economies of scale, for a company our size. I would love to entertain a 2–3-year contract strategy, so we are not resigning an MSPA every year.

Listen first to your client's strategy and perspective regarding portfolio advertising changes rather than immediately going into "save the listing" mode. Monitoring and managing the property strategy is our primary job; we always prioritize what is best for the property's strategy.

Anyone looking to promote their multifamily community, regardless of classification.
