Updater truly helped simplify the moving process, improved efficiency in managing multiple tasks, and provided a better customer experience for residents.

What do you like most about Updater?

Using updater has been a game changer, because it allows us to simplify the move in process. All move in tasks are set up in a easy to use platform. It allows residents to manage everything from updating address to transferring utilities.

What could Updater do better?

Expanding their partnerships with more service companies would allow the platform to run a lot smoother.

Truly a Resident Experience Miracle!

Our team wanted a digital way to track move in actions, as well as a way to make these actions easier for our future residents!

What do you like most about Updater?

There are many things we love about Updater, but what we love the most is the customer service the team provides to us. They make the set up process simple and actually fun, which is not always the case!

What could Updater do better?

Updater is doing amazing things. As their platform improves, we're hoping to see PI protection so that we can expand the required information we need from our future residents.

We utilize Updater Pro to manage all move-in tasks for future residents, and giving our future residents a space to provide all required in items in one space.

What do you like most about Updater?

Updater has simplified and streamlined the move-in process for future residents and onsite team members. No more searching in multiple locations to determine what's been completed and what's still needed from a future resident. You can manage everything in one space or dashboard, and the best part is that Updater handles the communication for you!

What could Updater do better?

Simplify the onboarding/set up process for multiple communities - have a bulk setup option.

Who would you recommend Updater to?

Everyone!

Anytime we need something, the response time has been incredible. The team makes time to address any concerns and also identify solutions.

If onboarding only one community the process is very easy. However, if uploading multiple communities all at once, it can be time consuming to update them one by one. It would be helpful to have a bulk update option.

Compatibility with your existing solutions

I wish documents uploaded in Updater would sync back into OneSite, but understand that's a RealPage thing, not an Updater thing.

The extra team member you never knew you needed!

What was your company’s primary use case for Updater?

We use Updater to assist with organizing our applicant's move in tasks. Updater picks up their info, sends out an intro and list of requirements, and follows up with reminders as necessary.

What do you like most about Updater?

Updater's platform is so user friendly and easy to learn. We were up and running in no time! That plus all the time saved make it an easy choice for managing your move ins.

What could Updater do better?

I honestly can't think of a single thing.

Updater is an awesome service that helps property managers be more efficient

What was your company’s primary use case for Updater?

My company implemented Updater a few months back and it’s made creating applicant’s files so much easier!

What do you like most about Updater?

I love how Updater gives future residents reminders of what documents are still pending. It makes it so much easier to complete other tasks rather than chasing down pending documents. Carlie hosted our kick off call and did such an awesome job on explaining the service and how easy it is to use. Any time I have had a question or issue the team responds in a timely manner.

What could Updater do better?

Who would you recommend Updater to?

I would recommend it to almost all property managers, especially if you work in the office by yourself a lot. It seriously saves me so much time when I am getting my move in files ready.

Updater

What was your company’s primary use case for Updater?

We did a pilot for Updater at our property before the company launched it-site wide. We used to it to simplify move-ins for new residents.

What do you like most about Updater?

Updater helps save time. It streamlined our move in process. We were able to get rid of welcome letters & create a one-stop shop for move-ins to get their information and prepare the documents necessary to pick up keys. It also helped save time by linking to Yardi - when a resident uploaded renter's insurance it automatically synced to their Yardi profile.

What could Updater do better?

Updater can be tricky with a super quick move-in. We did talk about this during the pilot and they helped address it but it still works best for a move-in with more time in between application and lease start date.

Who would you recommend Updater to?

I would recommend Updater to any on-site management time that does things in-house. The team is super helpful and the software is easy to learn.

Fast and cool!

What was your company’s primary use case for Updater?

We use The Updater as a move-in tool for all our new move-ins. It helps to remove stress from already stressful situations. My favorite tool is that once the prospect uploads the required documents, we can approve or deny them and state why. I also love that once it's approved, it goes straight to Yardi. It truly saves so much time.

What do you like most about Updater?

I love that the system is easy to use. The customer service is awesome; they respond to e-mails usually within an hour.

What could Updater do better?

I would love for them to add a feature where the prospect can upload their proof of income and government missed IDs. Here at our community, part of the move-in process is collecting proof of income, having a copy of an ID, and attaching it to their files.

Amazing System!

Updater has taken over our Welcome Letter and streamlined the move in process for us and our future residents.

What do you like most about Updater?

We absolutely love that it is an easy-to-use system, cuts our time in half and is easy for our future residents to use and operate. All documents once approved are automatically uploaded to Yardi.

Any feedback I have provided Updater with, if able they integrate it into their system. Or before I have a chance to give feedback, my suggestion has already been added to the system. SO easy to work with.

Updater is utilized as our Welcome Letter and check in points with our future residents. It is an easy way for the future resident to view what tasks need to be completed prior to move in.

What do you like most about Updater?

Our teams love Updater because the processes are in one location for the future residents. It is a way to collect data and see what is outstanding, making for a much smoother move in. In addition - no matter who we have talked to or had assigned as a representative, we have had great and prompt customer service. They open themselves up as available to our on-site teams which makes it very beneficial.

What could Updater do better?

Any feedback we have provided Updater to better their system for our use, they have either come back and showed us how to use it or put it in with their team as feedback to improve at a later time. They are incredibly supportive of their management companies.

Saves Time, Easy to Learn

What was your company’s primary use case for Updater?

Not having to draft and send approval letters has been a big time saver for our team. it is also very easy for residents to pick up and use.

What do you like most about Updater?

The UI is very clean and intuitive.

What could Updater do better?

There have been a few cases of needing to sync new residents overnight and set move-in costs the next day. This can be a challenge when we have move-ins with a fast turnaround.

Any business which frequently communicates the same information and tasks concisely to a large audience.

The most thing I like how updater is how user friendly it is and how it's helped out with time management.

Updater Kept Us Afloat

What was your company’s primary use case for Updater?

Updater allowed us to streamline the move in process for incoming residents to submit documents, account information, and other required move in items.

What do you like most about Updater?

I like that Updater keeps everything in one place, but also syncs with our management system (Yardi) to transfer documents into individual resident files. It made keeping track of 40+ move ins much easier. It also enabled us to be more efficient with our time in sending out approval letters to new residents, and then created an easy task list for them to follow to prepare for move in.
